Position: Marketing Assistant (Part-Time) 

Location: Hood River, Oregon.  This is a flex position with work that can be done remotely on most days.  

Pay: Commensurate with experience.

Job Summary: 

Our small business is growing and we are searching for a self motivated and creative individual with a passion for small brands and organic kids clothing to join our e-commerce marketing team.  This position will work closely with the Marketing Team and report directly to the Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication and knowledge and experience with e-commerce newsletters, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other various social media platforms. Must have working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Shopify and various social media platforms. We are looking for a team player! Someone who wouldn’t mind helping with shipping when needed and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.  

Responsibilities:

Create and implement marketing campaigns working independently and in collaboration with the Marketing Team.  Including the creation of: flatlays, videos, Instagram reels, Instagram stories, Facebook Ads, Pinterest Pins, E-Newsletters campaigns, etc. 

Manage the website and create content. 

Assist with market research. Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.). Create monthly marketing reports in Excel with use of pivot tables. Compile financial and statistical information such as budget spreadsheets.

Organize photoshoots. 

Requirements:

Experience as a marketing assistant for an e-commerce business. 

Knowledge and understanding of office management and marketing principles.

Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Well-organized.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other editing software.

Knowledge of DSLR cameras and studio photography equipment. 

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication.
